Such a pleasure to be commissioned to illustrate and paint these gates and front door mural for a super lovely couple!

After visiting the property in Sneyd Park we came up with the concept of incorporating illustrated pine cones and foliage into the design along with the bird characters. They were looking for something striking, with street art leanings but something that would compliment their property. After mocking the image up onto photos of the gates and front door my clients could see how it would look before going ahead.

Both gates and front door (it was a huge Victorian panelled door!) were delivered to my studio in Montpelier and primed ready for painting. The design was applied by hand with exterior water based paints and black acrylic before being collected and refitted.
