Hand Painted Mailbox Wall mural in the main reception area commissioned by Dutch architectural firm Vastint for Havannah House Luxury Student Accommodation in Glasgow.

Vastint asked me to create this mural to make the reception area around the large metal post boxes serving the 250 students residing in the block more fun and interesting. I decided to feature various illustrated carrier pigeon characters ferrying letters to famous Glaswegians (as chosen by the local site team finishing the build!) including the Big Yin (Billy Connolly), Sharlene Spiteri, James McAvoy & Rab C Nesbitt among many others.   

As per the architects request I used a strict colour palette to tie in with the colour scheme throughout the building. 

Again I worked closely with the amazing team at Robertson Construction who helped on-site with scaffolds, platforms, access, haggis pakora’s and & battered Mars Bars!
